Free support for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children up to 3 years old, who live in Walsall.
We are here to provide support and guidance for parents and caregivers with babies up to 3 years old. Our services are available both before and after your baby is born.
Some of the ways we can help include:

Antenatal (before birth) counselling to prepare you for the arrival of your new baby

Postnatal (after birth) counselling to support you and your family as you adjust to life with a new-born

Advice and resources on caring for your child's physical and emotional needs

Strategies for managing the ups and downs of parenthood

Referrals to other services and specialists if needed
Who?

Those wanting support during pregnancy or after a baby is born.

Those wanting advice with developing relationships between them and their baby.

Suitable for anyone caring for children aged 3 and under, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family members.
You will receive six sessions of one-to-one counselling support. Each session lasts up to two hours and is led by our qualified therapists or counsellors.

Therapy to help you build confidence and self-esteem.

Activities to help you connect with others.

Support for personal emotional issues.

Group workshops with other parents.

This service is aimed at soon-to-be parents, new parents, and care givers with infants up to 3 years old living in Walsall.

Self-referrals are accepted with the option for escalation to tier 3 specialist services when support exeeds the service's scope.
Referrals can also come from partner organisations as outlined in the PIR mental health pathway for Walsall.
